We provide a great way for single men and women to get together for evenings of fun, friends and fine dining at some of the best restaurants in and around Los Angeles and Orange County. With our reciprocity agreement, you may even dine with singles from coast to coast!
We find that single people enjoy the convenience of a restaurant with the conversation and warmth of a dinner party. Sure, you could eat at any of these restaurants on your own, but we provide a network of new dining opportunities, and a chance to meet people with similar interests.
We are a dining club for single people. We are neither matchmakers, nor a dating service. Love, however, is sometimes on the menu! To date we count more than 30 weddings (some are bi-county!).
For an initial fee of $139, members receive: the privilege of attending events for twelve full months; and 12 issues of our monthly newsletter which provides the details of upcoming events.
Participation in our events includes six or more members; some events may attract as many as 20-40 people. A typical evening begins with members gathering at the bar, prior to being seated for dinner. We assist with seating arrangements and make introductions. Our members are single adults of a professional/business caliber. While all ages are welcome to join and participate, we seem to attract guys and gals from 35ish to 65ish.
Our multi-course menus are previously arranged and usually offer a choice of entrees. Wine and/or coffee service may be included.
Members prepay an all-inclusive event price to The Single Gourmet (eliminating your need to audit your bill and calculate a gratuity). Our all-inclusive event prices have recently ranged from less than $70 to more than $99.
We plan for variety in the style and cuisine of our events; and we welcome members’ suggestions and recommendations. We visit hot spots, as well as classic favorites. Occasionally, music, dancing or entertainment may be included.
Additional benefits of membership are group travel, and reciprocity with other SG chapters throughout the U.S. and Canada. If you travel on your own, you may dine with singles in most major cities! As you can see, we do all the work, YOU have all the fun! So. . . JOIN NOW!
