| THE ROOF GARDEN at The Peninsula is a stylish rooftop patio with a secluded garden that offers a relaxed dining setting under the stars - or maybe next to a star! Although the hotel is Asian, the menu is contemporary American, and tonight our menu begins with a “composed skewer” of grilled duck sausage with charred summer pineapple, dates, rocket arugula and heirloom watermelon. The choices for your main course are the special 24-spice-rubbed barbecued pork ribs, or Alaskan halibut with fennel slaw and a raspberry-chipotle glaze, or a T-bone steak with abalone mushrooms and Jamaican jerk barbecue sauce. To accompany your entree, enjoy baked Okinawa sweet potatoes and Southwestern pepper and corn salad. Our menu concludes with a dessert platter which allows a family-style tasting of more than one sweet thing. |
