SPAGO seems to be your favorite LA venue, so we’re returning. After all, it is a new year! And, to boot, the menu items have changed from our last visit! On this date, we’ll begin with the Maine lobster raviolini in a spicy shellfish-saffron broth. Entree choices will be the marinated Snake River Ranch “Kobe” London Broil with vegetables, wild mushrooms and garlic potato puree; or, salmon with wild field mushrooms, roasted root vegetables, and a mushroom emulsion. Our decadent dessert of the day will be chocolate bread pudding served with butterscotch gelato.
Since it’s Saturday evening, the group might enjoy continuing the party at one of the many bars across the street in the Montage Hotel; more than one of the bars have live music and a dance floor. It’s a happening place - not wild, but definitely lively! |
