| BISTRO 45 is an old favorite of The Single Gourmet, where we have enjoyed many delicious evenings dining on Cal-French cuisine since our first visit almost ten years ago. On our last visit, a man and woman became acquainted prior to dinner and, subsequently, became engaged to be married, although they have yet to tie the knot! (Perhaps we will break the spell by returning!) This evening, our dinner begins with your choice of the baked French Brie and apples in phyllo with organic mache salad, unless you prefer the house salad of mixed organic lettuces with sweet-spicy walnuts, crumbled Point Reyes blue cheese and a caramelized shallot vinaigrette. For your entree select the Bistro bouillabaisse, the sauteed Ahi, or steak and fries, or the roasted double cut pork chop. Decadent desserts are pear bread pudding, chocolate soup, or the lemon berry tower. Choose the one your sweet tooth will enjoy the most! |
