Yes... this (the original) FRENCH 75 survived David Wilhelm’s recent restaurant shakeup! So, it’s business as usual at this - the original - French 75, which was always our favorite. It’s the only one that has the memorabilia at the bar which reminds patrons of the origins of “French 75” - a cocktail of champagne and cognac concocted during WWI. After we meet and greet at the bar, our dinner begins with a salad of organic field greens with candied walnut, Red Flame grape and verjus vinaigrette. For your entree choose the filet mignon with roasted garlic potato puree, baby carrot and Port-porcini jus - unless you prefer the Arctic Char (a white fish with flaky flesh) dressed with blood orange vinaigrette and served with sunchoke puree. For fowl followers, there’s a Jidori chicken breast served coq au vin style with red wine and Crimini mushrooms. And, the sweet conclusion is your choice of the Tahitian vanilla bean creme brulee - or a warm Callebaut chocolate souffle served with Cointreau cream! Yummeee.
