PARQ is in the Montage, a grand new hotel located across the street from Spago. It was difficult to not notice it as we departed from Spago following a lovely dinner a few months ago. The Montage is well known to the OC segment of The Single Gourmet, as we enjoyed many dinners at its Laguna location. It’s exciting to welcome the Montage to Beverly Hills!
Our first dinner at Parq in Beverly Hills will begin with your choice of the salad of black Mission figs with blonde pesto and wild arugula with a mustard dressing, unless you prefer the lobster bisque with smoked mushrooms and garden herbs. Entree choices are the coffee-crusted New York strip with wild arugula and Fourme D’Ambert with bourbon caramel, or the line-caught Scottish salmon with shrimp and crab and a horseradish gribiche. The sweet ending is your choice of the chocolate espresso mousse bar with frosted hazelnuts and milk chocolate malt, unless you prefer the olive oil cake with roasted figs, creme fraiche and cinnamon brittle ice cream. |
